The process was long and we looked at many properties, we had specific needs for a property due to the fact that we have horses. Cheryl was marvelous; she initially met with us and thoroughly explained the role of the buyer’s agent. Our entire process with Cheryl was very personal; she got to know us and went out of her way to help us. She would send me emails that meet our criteria and let me pick and choose which ones we wanted to see, I would also scan the MLS website and request showings of different properties. When it came down to actually negotiating a price, of course the 2 homes we negotiated on the sellers were in a tough spot and could not afford to budge, but Cheryl gave us good ideas as to a reasonable offer and how to counteroffer. Cheryl is an amazing person, she never pressured us and we both know there were a million places she would rather be on 3 consecutive sunny June Saturdays, but she never rushed us and made us feel welcome and special. She went above and beyond; we developed a friendship which really improved our working relationship together. I knew the home buying process would be stressful, but I never imagined that one person could make the process enjoyable.
